Heat Recovery Ventilation System

This impressive oak-framed pool hall at Arne House features a comprehensive heat recovery ventilation system installed by Wessex Services Group. The spiral ductwork, carefully routed through the exposed timber structure, provides controlled environmental management essential for indoor pool facilities.

The system maintains optimal temperature and humidity levels within the pool hall whilst preventing condensation from forming on the extensive glazing and roof lights. By continuously extracting moisture-laden air and replacing it with fresh, tempered air, the heat recovery unit ensures a comfortable swimming environment year-round without the common issues associated with indoor pools.

The spiral ducting has been thoughtfully positioned to integrate with the architectural features of the space whilst maintaining efficient airflow throughout the large volume.
