This stunning indoor swimming pool is housed within a dramatic oak-framed structure with vaulted ceilings and generous glazing, providing abundant natural light. The pool features two integrated waterfall features and contemporary mosaic tiling in gradient blues.
Wessex Services Group designed and installed an innovative hybrid heating system for this facility, combining an air source heat pump with a gas boiler to provide intelligent, efficient pool heating. The system primarily uses the ASHP when the pool is covered and not in use, ensuring low running costs and reduced environmental impact. When rapid heat-up is required, such as when the cover is opened, the gas boiler supplements the system to maintain optimal water temperature quickly.
This hybrid approach delivers both sustainability and performance, ensuring the pool remains comfortable for use whilst minimising energy consumption during standby periods.
Control4 / KNX
This installation at Middlehill Road features an advanced smart home heating system integrating KNX and Control4 technology. The intuitive touchscreen interface provides complete control and monitoring of the entire property's climate systems from any room.
Individual room temperatures are displayed in real-time, with the ability to adjust each zone independently for optimal comfort and energy efficiency. The system also monitors and controls hot water temperature, swimming pool heating, and jacuzzi settings, all accessible through the same unified interface.
Wessex Services Group installed and commissioned the complete mechanical systems that integrate with this smart control platform, including underfloor heating zones throughout the property and the pool heating system. The intelligent controls allow precise temperature management whilst minimising energy waste, combining comfort with sustainability.
Luxury Bathroom with Whirlpool Bath and AquaVision TV
This sophisticated bathroom installation features a built-in whirlpool bath with multiple massage jets, providing a spa-like experience at home. The clean white finish and streamlined design create a calm, relaxing environment.
An AquaVision waterproof television has been recessed into the tiled wall, offering entertainment whilst bathing without compromising the minimalist aesthetic. The flush-mounted screen integrates seamlessly with the large-format wall tiles, demonstrating careful planning and precise installation.
Jacuzzi Installation
This impressive sunken jacuzzi installation provides a luxurious spa experience within the home. The deep blue acrylic shell features multiple strategically positioned massage jets for targeted hydrotherapy, surrounded by contemporary grey metro and large-format tiling with contrasting mosaic detailing.
The jacuzzi is heated by the property's renewable hybrid heating system, combining an air source heat pump with gas boiler backup to maintain optimal water temperature efficiently. An AquaVision waterproof television has been recessed into the tiled wall, allowing entertainment whilst enjoying the spa experience.
